On the morning of April 11, the meeting on the theme of promoting Chinese-foreign cooperative preschool education project was held in the College of Education. President Liu Tie Ming and Vice President Chen Zhiguo attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Zhiguo.
At the meeting, the School of Education reported in detail the basic situation and development bottlenecks of the Sino-UK preschool education program, and all the attendees actively relieved the difficulties and offered suggestions.
After listening to the report, Chen Zhiguo comprehensively summarized andanalyzed the main development difficulties of the current project, and pointed out the specific and feasible work plan in conjunction with the realities.
Liu Tieming fully affirmed the efforts and achievements of the College of Education in the Sino-UK cooperative education project. He pointed out that this program started late but developed well, making significant contributions to both our university’s education and the Chinese-foreign cooperative education as well as generating great social benefits, and the university will continue to support the School of Education to expand and manage the program.He stressed that the program has become a calling card of our university's international cooperation and an important way to promote international exchange and expand the international vision of our university. Besides, wealso need to further strengthen communication with the British side, to expandthe precision and depth of cooperation, to further improve the quality of schooling and enhance student literacy. He hoped that by further optimizing the top-level design and grasping the detailed work initiatives to ensure thesteady progress of the project, he would strive to make the Sino-UK cooperative preschool education project a benchmark project of international, cooperativeand open schooling in the province.
